Pleasanton Stabbing Suspects May Have Known Victim: Cops

Pleasanton police are still searching for two suspects they believe 'specifically targeted' the victim they fatally stabbed on Monday.

PLEASANTON, CA - Pleasanton police are still searching for two suspects wanted for fatally stabbing a man on Owens Drive early Monday morning.

Pleasanton police found a man unresponsive at 10:30 a.m. in an apartment on the 5700 block of Owens Drive, who was later pronounced dead by emergency personnel. The victim’s identity has not been released as of Wednesday morning.

Pleasanton police said in a Wednesday morning news release that they believe the assailants were known to the victim and specifically targeted him. Police also said they do not believe there is any danger to the public.

A witness reported that two male suspects wearing ski masks were last seen running out of the apartment.
