Police and Fire Beat: Burglaries and Collisions Reported

Monday, Nov. 15

• An auto burglary was reported on the 3600 block of Bernal Avenue at 11:05 a.m. Items taken included a purse, wallet, credit cards and electronics. 

Sunday, Nov. 14

• A 30-year-old woman was arrested for public intoxication at 12:28 a.m.
• A 39-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence at 1:58 a.m.
• A traffic collision was reported on Bernal Avenue and Koll Center Drive at 3:17 p.m. involving two vehicles.
• A traffic collision was reported on W Las Positas Boulevard and Belleza Lane at 4:14 p.m. involving two vehicles.
• A structure fire was reported was on the 5700 Owens Drive at the Archstone Hacienda Apartments at 6:49 p.m. An oven was reported on fire. 

Saturday, Nov. 13

• A 32-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 12:31 a.m. 
• A 26-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 1:45 a.m.
• A 50-year-old man was arrested for petty theft at 11:23 a.m.
• A traffic collision was reported on westbound I-580 and Hopyard Road at 12:49 p.m. involving three vehicles.
• A traffic collision was reported on westbound I-580 and northbound I-680 at 5:35 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 12

• A 22-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at 5:35 p.m.
• A vehicle fire was reported at the Alameda County Fairgrounds at 08:41 a.m. A person reported smoke coming from a motor home. 
• A traffic collision was reported on First Street and Bernal Avenue at 11:56 p.m. An unknown number of vehicles were involved.
• A traffic collision was reported on Tawny Drive and Michael Circle at 7:22 p.m. involving a vehicle and pedestrian. 

Thursday, Nov. 11

• A 40-year-old woman was arrested for petty theft at 7:09 p.m.
• A 29-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 4:11 a.m.
• A residential burglary was reported at the 4200 Sheldon Circle at 7?26 a.m. Items taken include media, audio, video and flat screen television.
• Auto theft was reported at 4500 Denker Drive at 10:19 a.m. Items taken include auto parts.
• A residential burglary was reported at 8000 Rockford Place at 10:01 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 10

• A burglary from an automobile was reported on the 1900 block of Paseo Del Cajon at 3:03 p.m.
• A residential burglary was reported on the 1900 block of Greenwood Road at 10:12 p.m. Items taken include two bicycles.
• A burglary was reported at a restaurant on the 4800 block of Hopyard Road at 10:18 p.m.
• A vehicle was reported at the Nordstrom's parking lot at Stoneridge Shopping Center at 7:43 p.m.
• A residential burglary was reported on the 900 block of Clinton Place. Items taken include computer equipment, car keys and camera equipment. 
• A fire was reported on Valley Avenue and Stanley Boulevard at 12:10 p.m.  

Tuesday, Nov. 9

• A theft was reported on the 6000 block of Tillman Court at 10:48 a.m.

• A traffic collision was reported on westbound I-580 and Dougherty Road at 11:10 a.m. Two vehicles were involved and there was a report of head injury. 
• A vegetation fire was reported on Valley Avenue and Oak Vista Way at 2:56 p.m.
