Police and Fire Beat: Local Businesses Burglarized

Monday, Sept. 6

• A burglary on the 6600 block of Arlington Drive was reported at 10:36 a.m. Items taken included tools, security wires, household goods and jewelry. 
• Gimenelli's Delicatessen Burglarized: At 7:37 a.m., a burglary was reported at Giamanelli's Delicatessen on Main Street.
• A 25-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 9:46 p.m.
• A head injury was reported at 11:53 a.m. at the Skate Park inside Pleasanton Sports Park.
• A vehicle fire was reported on the westbound I-580 at Hacienda Drive at 2:08 p.m.
• A traffic collision was reported on the southbound I-680 at the I-580 entrance at 08:23 p.m. A black ford focus was reported to be in the center divide. 

Sunday, Sept. 5

• Theft was reported on the 1300 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 12:15 p.m.
• Theft was reported on the 1300 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 6:26 p.m.
• A 40-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence at 12:08 a.m.
• A 23-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 1:16 a.m.
• A 28-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence at 3 a.m.
• A 42-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 7:49 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 4

• Togo's Burglary: At 05:53 a.m., a burglary was reported at the Togo's on the 3100 block of Santa Rita Road. 
• An 18-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 11:15 p.m.
• A 19-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 11:55 p.m.
• Water flow was reported at 2:10 p.m. at the Federal Express building on the 7200 block of Johnson Drive. 
• A traffic collision was reported at 11:24 p.m. on the westbound I-580 by the I-680 entrance. A vehicle with three occupants reportedly rolled over. 
• A traffic collision at 11:44 p.m. was reported on the southbound I-680 near Castlewood Drive. Two to four lanes were blocked off. 

Friday, Sept. 3

• Theft was reported at 8:30 a.m. on the 3600 block of Nevada Street. Items taken included construction materials such as shingles and rolls of asphalt felt.
• Hacienda Cleaners Burglarized: At 7:11 a.m., a burglary was reported on the 5600 block of Stoneridge Drive. Items taken included money from a lock box and office equipment.
• A 25-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence at 12:26 a.m.
• An 18-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence and public intoxication at 12:49 a.m.
• A 20-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 12:49 a.m. 
• A 50-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence at 10:07 p.m.
• A traffic collision was reported at 3:40 p.m. on the eastbound I-580 near Foothill Road. A person sustained facial injury.
• A traffic collision was reported at 15:41 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Rita Road and Mohr Avenue. 
• A vehicle fire was reported at 6:51 p.m. on the westbound I-580 near Dougherty Road. Two people were still in the vehicle and dark smoke was reportedly coming from under the truck. 
• A shrub fire was reported at 7:43 p.m. inside Val Vista Park. The fire was out within 11 minutes.

Thursday, Sept. 2

• An auto burglary was reported on the 6700 block of Menlo Court at 6:22 a.m.
• An auto burglary was reported on the 3900 block of Mt. Rainier Court at 7:01 a.m.
• A petty theft was reported on the 6700 block of Menlo Court at 8:20 a.m.
• A 23-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 11:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 1

• Auto Burglaries: An auto burglary was reported on the 4800 block of Mason Street at 9:29 a.m. The owner of the car said he parked and locked his vehicle on his driveway at 11:30 p.m. the night before. At 9:15 a.m., the owner noticed that the left front window of his vehicle was broken. It's unclear what tools were used to smash the window. Items taken included a GPS unit. The reporting officer also noted that there was also a report of destruction of property on the 4700 block of Mason Street at 10:43 a.m.
• A 59-year-old woman was arrested for public intoxication at 9:12 p.m.
• A 22-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at 11:30 p.m.
• A traffic collision was reported at 9:02 a.m. at the intersection of Vineyard Avenue and Diablo Court. Three vehicles--a truck and two sports utility vehicles--were involved. A person sustained head injury.
• A structure fire was reported at 1:59 p.m. The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department received reports of smoke coming out of a house on Foothill Road near Jorgensen Lane.
• A traffic collision was reported at 6:33 a.m. on Santa Rita Road near W Las Positas Boulevard.

Tuesday, Aug. 31

• Bicycle Theft: A bicycle was reported stolen at 4:33 p.m. on Rosewood Drive by Wal-Mart. The bike, valued at $2500, is red with black hand bars and red grips. 
• A collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian was reported at 4:35 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Avenue and Boulder Street.
• A traffic collision was reported on the westbound I-580 near Hacienda Drive. The accident involved a vehicle hitting a wall on the onramp. The vehicle was reportedly abandoned.
