This art show, open to all artists, will feature a large open air artist exhibit in the main rotunda in Blackhawk Plaza. There is 24 hour security. This will be a fundraiser for the San Ramon Valley Schools art programs.

Eligibility: All artists in all mediums are welcome (2D & 3D).

Entry Fee (non- Refundable): ADAS Members: $25 for 1 or 2 entries; $35 for 3 entries. Non-members: $35 for 1 or 2 entries; $45 for 3 entries. Limit of 3 entries per artist.

Entry form: Artist information and artwork entries must be entered on-line. Payments are processed through PayPal, where you may use your debit card, credit card, or PayPal account. You may also mail a check.

Judge: Pat Suggs

Awards: Cash awards and ribbons will be given for Merit awards, ribbons will be given for Honorable Mention winners. Our independent art show judge will select the winners.

Show Rules: Original Work: 2D and 3D artwork must be the artist’s own original work and not previously shown at an ADAS juried show. Not accepted: Giclees, work based on other artist’s work or published photographs, work done under the supervision of an instructor, or in a workshop. Content limitations: No overt political statement or frontal nudity please. The show committee will make the determination of appropriate art at receiving.

Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. ADAS does not provide property insurance and is not responsible for damage or loss.

Sales: Artists must have California Seller’s Permit if artwork is priced for sale. The Blackhawk Gallery will process any sales. A 25% sales commission will apply. Sales tax will be reimbursed to the artist who must file their own sales tax return.

Volunteers: Assistance will be requested when you submit your entry form. We need help with panel setup, artwork receiving, artwork installation, exhibit staffing, wristband sales, artwork sales desk, reception assistance, artwork pickup, panel takedown and storage.

Timeline:

 Friday May 6th, 2016

All entry applications must be received by this date.

 Friday May 20th (1-4 pm)

Artists deliver artwork to Blackhawk Rotunda receiving location

 Saturday May 21st 10 am to 6 pm

Exhibit is open to the public.

 Saturday May 21st (4-6 pm)

Reception, open to the public, at Rotunda

 Sunday May 22nd 11:00 am to 5 pm

Exhibit is open to the public.

 Sunday May 22nd (5-6 pm)

Artists pick up all artwork.
