Public Meeting Planned on Shadow Cliffs Photovoltaic Plans

The renewable energy will help offset nearly all of the Park District's electricity use.

East Bay Regional Park District is moving forward with renewable energy plans.

A public meeting on the new photovoltaic electric system coming to Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area will be held Thursday, June 18.

Staff from the East Bay Regional Park District, City of Pleasanton, and Newcomb Anderson McCormich Engineers will be available to answer questions about the project.

The new system of clean, renewable energy will help offset nearly all of the Park District’s electricity use, and provide much-needed shade in the Shadow Cliffs parking lot.

Refreshments will be provided.
