PUSD Announces New School Principal, Vice Principals

Here's a round-up of this year's administrative changes at Pleasanton schools.

There's been a lot of movement among Pleasanton Unified School District administrators in the past few months. Some of the changes were because of retirements, others were a result of hires in other districts.

In case you're having a hard time keeping track of the changes, here's a round-up of recent appointments. All of the hires are pending board approval except the Amador principal position:

Amador Valley High School: Jim Hansen takes over for Bill Coupe, who retired in June. Vice Principal Ben Fobert will be leaving to be principal of Mohr Elementary School. Fobert's successor has not yet been decided.

Harvest Park Middle School: Ken Rocha, who was vice principal at Harvest Park and Hart Middle School, will become principal of Harvest Park.

Pleasanton Middle School: Lisa Hague, a teacher at the school, will become the vice principal. Hague succeeds Aileen Parsons, who took a principal position in Dublin. Another vice principal at the school, Matt Campbell, also left for another district.

Hart Middle School: Terry Conde, former Hart vice principal, became principal earlier this year after the retirement of Steve Maher. A second vice principal, Ken Rocha, will become Harvest Park's principal  (see above). The process of filling the vice principal positions at the school is still being discussed.

Mohr Elementary School: Ben Fobert, who was at Amador (see above), will now be principal at Mohr Elementary. Fobert replaces Robin Sehrt who was hired by another district.

Donlon Elementary School: Barbara Heisser, who served as vice principal at Lydiksen Elementary School, recently took over the job held by former principal Marc Schweitzer, who retired.
