Augustine Bernal Park Trail Rescue

A bicyclist had to be rescued from Valley View Trail in Augustine Bernal Park Tuesday evening after he fell from his mountain bike.

A medical helicopter was requested to transport the injured man, but was called off when paramedics determined that he could be transported to a hospital by ambulance.

The fall happened just a mile from the entrance to Augustine Bernal Park, and the victim was assisted by his companions before paramedics arrived.

There’s no further word on the man’s condition.

Both LPFD and CalFire took part in the incident.
