Lexy Garcia's family members stayed by her bedside, hoping for a miracle, until her last breath.
LIVERMORE, CA — A second passenger critically injured in a horrific rollover crash in Livermore the night before Thanksgiving has died. Livermore native Alexys 'Lexy' Garcia, 25, who was in a medically-induced coma for a week, died Wednesday night after succumbing to her injuries, according to her family. She suffered brain trauma, a broken pelvis and broken bones.
Garcia, who was ejected when the SUV she was riding in left the road and rolled several times, is the second person to die in the tragic crash. Violet Campbell, 16, who attended Village High School in Pleasanton, was also killed in the collision. She was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Campbell’s funeral is scheduled for Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Pleasanton, according to Campbell's family. Grief counseling is being offered this week to students in Pleasanton who knew Campbell.
Garcia’s family is devastated. Family members stayed by her bedside, hoping for a miracle, until her last breath. A prayer vigil for Garcia was scheduled just hours before in Livermore.

CHP officials said the night before Thanksgiving, the blue Kia Sorento Davis was driving left the road for unknown reasons, overturned several times and came to rest on the first set of railroad tracks. Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene. Garcia was found critically injured near the crash. Davis was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and felony DUI causing injury/death, CHP officials said.

A touching roadside memorial of flowers and rocks appeared Thursday near the scene of a deadly car crash.
