SAD Syndrome

Recent research reveals that exercise promotes a process known as neurogenesis. This promotes your brain’s ability to adapt and grow new brain cells. It doesn't matter how old you are because fitness can grow new brain cells at any age. Nerve cells release proteins that stimulate the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor, which in turn helps preserve existing brain cells and stimulates the growth of new neurons during exercise. There’s compelling evidence showing that exercise produces large cognitive gains and helps fight dementia, depression, brain fog, and assists with SAD syndrome during the winter months.
