September's Interfaith Chat held at Lynnewood United Methodist Church

On September 10th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Lynnewood United Methodist Church will host the September Interfaith Interconnect Religious Chat. Rev. Heather Leslie Hammer will speak on the topic “Rituals Honoring Someone who has Died.” Following her talk, attendees will take time to share their own religious and cultural rituals. The community is invited to attend to learn and get to know one another across religions. The meeting will be held in the sanctuary at 4444 Black Avenue in Pleasanton. Lynnewood UMC participates in Interfaith Connect, a lay interfaith group in Livermore and Pleasanton, as well as in the church’s local Interfaith Awareness Group under the leadership of Marsha Nakamura.
