Speed Limit Changes Impending for Two Pleasanton Roads
The speed limit will increase on one street while another will see a decrease.

PLEASANTON, CA: New speed limits will soon be going into effect for two streets in Pleasanton. According to city records, Bernal Avenue between Arroyo De la Laguna and Valley Avenue will be reduced from 45 mph to 40 miles per hour. Laurel Creek, one of the southernmost streets connecting Foothill Road to the mall, will increase from 25 mph to 30 mph.
All city speed limits for the 107 segments of roadway in Pleasanton are evaluated annually. According to city records, the cost for the new signage is estimated at $1,525 and the new limits will take effect once the updated signs are posted.
