Spring Book Sale at the Pleasanton Library

The sale will run from March 22 to 24 in the large meeting room of the library. The Friends of the Pleasanton Public Library are in need of adult volunteers to help with the sale.

The Friends of the Pleasanton Public Library will host the Spring Book Sale 2013 on Friday, March 22, Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24 in the large meeting room of the library.

The Friday night sale will run from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for members only of the Friends of the Library, (you can join and pay the reasonable membership fee at the door); then the sale is open to everyone on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Due to limited aisle space, no strollers are allowed. Electronic devices are also prohibited at the event.

More than 40,000 donated books of all types from bestsellers to biographies to children's picture books will be for sale, with paperbacks costing 50-cents and hardbacks and large-format paperbacks a dollar. The books are in good to perfect condition and are a great bargain. There will also be videos and other media for sale.

The Friends of the Pleasanton Library is a 501c3 non-profit organization created to support the Library. All revenues from the Book Sale support new materials programs and equipment at the library.
