The Fair this Week: Kissing Contest; Fireworks; Canned Food Gets Free Admission

Here are the highlights at the Alameda County Fair for the week of June 24.

Thinking of checking out the Alameda County Fair this week? Patch has the information you need to plan your visit. The fair is closed on Mondays. The weather for the week in Pleasanton can be found here. 

Fair Specials and Promotions: 

  • $2 Tuesdays
  • Seniors Free on June 27
  • Kids Free Fridays 
  • On June 26, bring 4 non-perishable food items and get into the fair free for Feed the Need Food Drive. The food will be donated to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. All rides on June 26 are $1.

Freestyle Motocross performs daily. Read more about the riders here. There will be a fireworks show on Friday, June 28. Help pack 100,000 meals on June 26 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with Kids Against Hunger.
