The association brought together elected leaders to discuss the biggest factor impacting housing and land use issues.

From Tri-Valley TV: Current and future transportation issues. That was the topic of the 2018 Tri-Valley Transportation Solutions Summit hosted by the Bay East Association of Realtors. The association brought together state, regional and local elected leaders to discuss the biggest factor impacting housing and land use issues today, transportation. Discussion was also held regarding AB2923, recently signed into law by Governer Brown. Panelists on the program included: Assemblymember Catharine Baker, Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty, District 5 BART Director John McPartland, Dublin Mayor David Haubert, Pleasanton Mayor Jerry Thorne, Livermore Mayor John Marchand, and Moderator Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley.
"Why is the Bay East Association of Realtors putting on a transportation event? The answer is simple: quality of life. Realtors don’t just help people buy and sell homes. They have to be experts on the quality of life. In the Tri-Valley region, traffic congestion, commute options, cut-through traffic all directly impact the quality of life. Bay East has brought together this group of elected leaders at this exclusive event to share with the public their perspectives on what the future of transportation, and the quality of life, will be like in the Tri-Valley,” said David Stark, Public Affairs Director for the Bay East Association of Realtors
The Summit may be viewed on Comcast TV Channel 28 and AT&T U-verse via Channel 99.Video on Demand is also available anytime from anywhere by going to tv30.org and clicking on the Transportation Summit logo. No app is required.
