Tri-Valley Ice Cream Trail Raises $500 For Valley Humane Society
The fun campaign, which sent ice cream lovers to businesses in Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and Danville, also earned two awards.

PLEASANTON, CA — Visit Tri-Valley recently raised $500 for the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton by tapping into residents' penchant for sweets. The Tri-Valley Ice Cream Trail fundraiser, which sent ice cream lovers to 16 stops throughout Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and Danville, was hosted by Visit Tri-Valley.
Residents tracked their delicious ice cream adventure on the Tri-Valley Ice Cream Trail passport, which was available online or in the participating ice cream shops. Once participants visited at least five of the shops between Memorial Day and Labor Day, they earned a custom ice cream scoop and a $5 donation to the humane society courtesy of Visit Tri-Valley.
The innovative ice cream fundraiser earned two awards, including the DMA West’s 2018 Best Idea Program and Hermes 2018 Gold Winner, Category: Web & Social Media Video, according to VTV.
