Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit Comes To Pleasanton

The networking and panel event will feature talks by 10X Genomics president and co-founder Ben Hindson and investor James Langford.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Tri-Valley is becoming one of the hottest biotech regions in the world. On Oct. 13, Veeva Systems, a life sciences cloud-based software company, will host the Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit at its Pleasanton headquarters. In 2019, over 250 local entrepreneurs and scientists attended the summit.

In addition to networking, the event will feature a number of panels. James Langford, a principal at Tri-Valley Ventures, will speak on the investment and venture capital landscape for Tri-Valley companies.

Ben Hindson, the co-founder and president of 10X Genomics, will speak about the Pleasanton company’s transformation into a publicly-traded company.

This will be followed by a panel discussion by Tri-Valley life science entrepreneurs and leaders about how they built their companies.
