The second annual TV30 Tri-Valley Sports Final Player of the Week Awards event recently honored 35 high school athletes from the Tri-Valley, and the ceremony is currently airing on TV30, the community television station serving Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore.
The event was held at the and featured speaker was former NFL running back for the Oakland Raiders, Napoleon Kaufman.
Among those in attendance were Livermore Mayor John Marchand, Dublin Mayor Tim Sbranti and superintendents, principals and coaches from Tri-Valley high schools.

"This event was made even more special by the overwhelming support each student received from their fellow athletes, parents and others who attended,” said Melissa Tench-Stevens, TV30 executive director.
"We look forward to the third annual event next May where we will again promote the positive efforts of students in the Tri-Valley.”

During the program, videos of each student’s winning plays were shown.
