Valley Humane Society Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony at New Shelter Site
The 5,200 square foot building on Nevada Street will be completed next year.
Valley Humane Society supporters--both people and pooches--came out Thursday to break ground on a new shelter site.
The new building, which will be completed next year, will provide 5,200 square feet of space and help the organization expand its services.
Currently, the Valley Humane Society has a 2,100 square foot modular building on Nevada Street, which houses staff offices, a medical room and kennels for cats and kittens. Currently, dogs are kept off-site or in staff offices.
