VIDEO: Pleasanton's Young American Patriots Fife and Drum Corps

Just a few months old, a fife and drum corps has already seen success in this month's 4th of July Parade.

Pleasanton's Young American Fife & Drum Corps was officially formed just three months ago, but they are already making a name for themselves.

During Danville's 4th of July Parade, the group won first place in its category. They were among 22 groups who were given an award out of 132.

The group includes 13 kids whose average age is around 10 years old. Jason Giaimo put together the group earlier this spring. Giaimo started playing the fife at age 7 and competed throughout his youth.
