Walmart Evacuated Due to Threat

The Walmart store in Pleasanton located at 4501 Rosewood Drive was evacuated this afternoon just before 1 p.m. According to one shopper, who was in the store at the time, an announcement was made over the loud speaker that the store was being evacuated. 

Pleasanton Police Lieutenant James Knox confirmed that the store did receive a threat and was evacuated but that nothing suspicious was located. 
Knox says no other details about the incident are available at this time.

There was no answer at any of the phone numbers listed for Walmart in Pleasanton.
