Victim Robbed Outside Pleasanton Bank: Cops

A suspect wearing a face mask took $100 from a victim in a Chase Bank parking lot, police confirmed.

PLEASANTON, CA- A person was robbed in the parking lot of Chase Bank on 3506 Old Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton Monday, police confirmed.

A victim was approached by a suspect wearing a face mask and black clothing at around 1:40 p.m., PPD spokesperson Teri Yan told Patch. Suspects took about $100.

A witness reported on Nextdoor that a suspect in a gray Honda pulled the car door of a woman after she had withdrawn money from a nearby ATM, snatched her cash, and drove away. The witness said they tried to snatch her purse, but she fought them. PPD has neither confirmed nor denied these details.
