Victim Robbed Outside Pleasanton Bank: Cops

PLEASANTON, CA- A person was robbed in the parking lot of Chase Bank on 3506 Old Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton Monday, police confirmed.

A victim was approached by a suspect wearing a face mask and black clothing at around 1:40 p.m., PPD spokesperson Teri Yan told Patch. Suspects took about $100.

A witness reported on Nextdoor that a suspect in a gray Honda pulled the car door of a woman after she had withdrawn money from a nearby ATM, snatched her cash, and drove away. The witness said they tried to snatch her purse, but she fought them. PPD has neither confirmed nor denied these details.

No suspects have been reported. It is unknown if the suspect was armed. Anyone with information should contact the Pleasanton Police Department at 925-931-5100.
