WWII Veteran to Be Recognized During Debut of Documentary

A Soldier's Dream: The Milt Feldman Story to Make Its Debut at Stoneridge Creek Watch Party

World War II veteran and POW private Milt Feldman will be recognized at Stoneridge Creek, the senior living community he lives at in Pleasanton, during the world premiere of a documentary about his capture at the Battle of the Bulge. Hundreds of residents, along with Feldman’s friends and family, will watch the film and honor the 93 World War II, Korean, Cold War and Vietnam veterans currently living at the community

In the fall of 1944, Milt Feldman was among the troops of the 106th Infantry Division, on board the HMS Queen Elizabeth on his way to Europe. However, on the morning of December 16, Hitler launched a massive offensive in the Western Front in what is now known as The Battle of the Bulge. Private Milton Feldman was captured, then marched and shipped by train on a boxcar to Stalag IV-B, a POW camp deep inside German territory. Private Feldman’s extraordinary story of survival is now the subject of filmmaker Eduardo Montes-Bradley’s latest documentary, Milt Feldman: A Soldier’s Dream. The movie will make its premiere at Private Feldman’s Stoneridge Creek home on Saturday, August 11.
