• CPP creates new community belonging center (thepolypost.com) — Cal Poly Pomona has opened a new Office of Community and Belonging in Building 1, creating a welcoming space with workshops, internships, and micro-grants to support students’ sense of inclusion and success. Leaders say the center will partner with cultural and identity centers, host monthly celebrations, and expand programs and events in the coming months for everyone in the Bronco community. 
• These are the 2027 National Merit Scholarship semifinalists in the Inland Empire (dailybulletin.com) — Pomona students from Diamond Ranch High School and International Polytechnic High School have been named 2027 National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, standing out among more than 1.2 million test-takers nationwide. They join dozens of Inland Empire peers now competing for a share of about $24 million in scholarship awards to be announced next spring.
