• Man Pleads Guilty to Killing Teen By Plowing Into Bikers in Targeted Attack (miamiherald.com) — A man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder after driving his car into a group of teenagers riding bikes in Port Hueneme, killing 16-year-old Pedro Valdez and injuring others. Prosecutors say he deliberately used his vehicle as a weapon in the 2021 attack. He now faces up to 27 years to life in prison, with sentencing set for October 27.
