• Senator Jones' Emerging Therapies Research Provisions Signed Into Law After Years' Long Battle For Veterans - (thevistapress.com) — Poway residents in Senator Brian Jones' district will be affected by new state funding for psychedelic therapy research aimed at helping veterans whose PTSD and other mental health issues haven't responded to standard treatments. After three years of bipartisan advocacy, Jones' emerging therapies language was folded into a budget bill signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, directing millions toward clinical research and alternative care options.
