Bellus Academy Graduates 200 Students!

Poway, CA—(July 13, 2012) Internationally-acclaimed beauty school Bellus Academy graduated nearly two hundred students on Sunday, July 8 in front of more than 600 attendees. Graduates from the Poway, National City and El Cajon campuses enjoyed keynote speeches from Leslie Marcus, supervising producer for the FOX 5 San Diego Morning Show, Allison Andrews, founder and director of San Diego Fashion Week and Tracy Sameyah, president of Murad’s Inclusive Health® division.

 Leslie Marcus is one of the original founders of the FOX 5 San Diego Morning Show. As supervising producer, she oversees creative content and her segments cover a range of newsworthy topics including health, beauty, fashion, fitness, cooking and human interest stories. Marcus is also a featured columnist for Pacific San Diego Magazine. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and previously worked on FOX’s morning show in Las Vegas.

Allison Andrews discovered her passion for fashion at a young age. Upon graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2007, she placed her focus on branding San Diego as a high-style hub of the West. With the inception of San Diego Fashion Week, Andrews has carved a name for herself in the business and beauty industries. As the founder of APA Business Consulting, Inc., she has more than seven years of experience in the fields of business development, strategic planning and marketing.

Tracey Sameyah is president of the Inclusive Health® division of Murad, Inc. Created to globally promote products and services based upon Dr. Murad’s Inclusive Health philosophy, this division offers innovative solutions that reinforce Murad’s leadership position within the industry. As president, Sameyah has been instrumental in designing the Murad Inclusive Health Spa™ (MIHS) business concept and overseeing its licensing and franchising.
