Best Customer Service: Sea Breeze Glass

With a long history in the glass installation business, Powegian Jim Lafenhagen opted to open his own specialty business 21 years ago.

The owner of Sea Breeze Glass—the winner of the Poway Premium Partners' poll for Best Customer Service in the Residential, Commercial and Auto Parts Industry in Poway—Lafenhagen said he chose to open the business after spending nine years with the Glaziers Union and to support his growing family.

Now, Lafenhagen said he's finding success “by committing our company to exceptional customer service and high-quality installations, returning customers and referrals have helped us survive the recession” and offered some advice to other entrepreneurs.

“My advice to aspiring business owners is to keep their heads up and eyes on the horizon,” he said. “Reserve resources where possible and look into inexpensive yet creative marketing ideas and strategies.”
