Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 61 Years, Installs New Board

The Poway Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 61st Anniversary on Thursday with its annual Installation Mixer.

The Poway Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 61^st Anniversary on Thursday with its annual Installation Mixer.

Chamber members and other local business owners gathered at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club to install the Chamber’s new chair, Paul Byrne.

Byrne, an IT Business owner from Scripps Ranch, said the last few years have been tough for the Chamber, but he has a plan for his tenure.

While outgoing chair, Linda Goycochea, said Poway’s family-friendly atmosphere and quality schools will continue to be a draw for businesses.
