Discovery Isle® Preschools Raise $500+ for Children with Cancer

Students at Discovery Isle Preschools in Scripps-Poway and the Penasquitos area of San Diego recently held cupcake sales and donated more than $500 to the Jessie Rees Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing resources for children battling cancer. Students staffed the stands and sold cupcakes to fellow students, their families, teachers and staff. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other children in need.

The Jessie Rees Foundation works to help every child fighting cancer to never give up. It fulfills its mission by connecting with families, bringing awareness to their stories, offering them a network of helpful resources and sending the entire family continual doses of encouragement throughout their journey.
