Jewish Family Service has announced its 2011 schedule for a free three-part seminar series on relationships.The third presentation, Sexuality, Intimacy and Aging, takes place on December 14, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the North County Inland Center. The seminar will discuss the need for intimacy that transcends age. Discussion will include a look at sexuality as a powerful, emotional experience and a life-long health-improving tool. Sexually active older men and women, for example, enjoy improved circulated, reduced anxiety, and an increase in painkilling endorphins – all factors that help improve the quality and length of life.
Transportation from Jewish Family Service’s On the Go program is available. On the Go shuttles provide group transportation to Jewish Family Service's Aging & Wellness Centers, religious events, shopping centers, lunch destinations and other cultural outings and events.
