Monrovia: What's New & Up and Coming with Nicholas Staddon

It’s a reality television show that nobody has made, yet. Few of us have the luxury of touring the world seeking interesting plants to grow and share, but for Nicholas Staddon, the director of the new plants for Monrovia Nursery, it’s what he lives for and gets paid to do.

Staddon will be the guest speaker at the April 16 garden class to be held at Walter Andersen Nursery in Poway (12755 Danielson Ct.) at 9:30 a.m. He will discuss new plants at Monrovia and what is up and coming.

As a Monrovia craftsman for more than 20 years, Staddon works with breeders, hybridizers and professional plant explorers, scouring the globe for new creations and discoveries in the plant world.
