Native Foods, Medicines and Materials

Kristie Orosco, a Kumeyaay and resource manager of the San Pasqual Band of Indians, will lead this seminar on Kumeyaay history, including demonstrations on how foods were prepared, materials made and native plants were used for healing.

The session will begin with an indoor presentation, then move to outdoors for hands-on activities. There will also be Q-and-A time.

Class size is limited to 40 participants. Reservations are required. Bring a sack lunch if you'd like. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
