Five-Year-Old Poway Startup Pictures $4M Revenue by Year's End

Hidden in the Poway business district is a million dollar picture-to-canvas venture.

Picture It On Canvas, a company that has existed since 2007, is expected to generate $4 million in revenue in its current operating year—success that CEO Robert McKeon credits largely to his partnership with Groupon.

McKeon, who has lived in Poway for 23 years, said his company has advertised on the daily deal website more than 300 times and within a two-week period alone, the company sold 6,000 canvas prints.

Not bad considering each print is roughly $110 pre-Groupon deal, right?
