A family of four spends on average $1,500 per year on the food they don’t eat, but that cost can be reduced through careful meal planning. It’s a strategy that reduces food waste, saves money and time, and promotes healthier eating.

Learn how grass clippings, peppers, banana peels, apple cores, and coffee grounds all help compost piles thrive. And find out how to properly dispose of yard trimmings, also known as green waste, grass clippings, landscape debris, or plant waste.

Residents are encouraged to attend, participate in the discussion, ask questions, and provide feedback.
