According to prosecutor Elizabeth Porterfield, neighbors contacted the sheriff's department about 10 a.m. on Sept. 14. When deputies arrived at the home in the 14100 block of Tobiasson Road, an agitated Gainder came out to the driveway and threatened the officers with a box cutter, Porterfield said.

Gainder later came out of the home with a crossbow and pointed its arrows at deputies, the prosecutor said.
