Photo Spotlight: St. Michael's Students Celebrate New Pope Francis

St. Michael's School in Poway marked Tuesday's inauguration of Pope Francis with a schoolwide celebration:

In celebration of the Inauguration of Pope Francis, St. Michael’s School in Poway gathered for a prayer service and balloon release.

The ceremony also included a presentation by the students to the Church’s Pastor, Monsignor Neal Dolan, who was celebrating the 49th anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood. The program concluded with a special blessing for Monsignor Dolan by the students.

As the students left the ceremony, each them received a white balloon to take home as a reminder to continue to pray for the 266th Pope.
