Photography by Lisa K Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Studio
Ten years into the business, Lisa Miller still has the shutterbug.
While many businesses may be struggling to stay afloat amid the recession, one woman is celebrating 10 years in the making.
Lisa Miller, a member of the Poway Chamber of Commerce and owner of , celebrated her 10th anniversary recently by opening a new studio in Rancho Bernardo.
The photographer, who built her first studio inside her garage, said she got hooked on photography while taking classes at Palomar College. Then, over time, friends would ask her to take photographs for them.

"I thought, 'I got something here: People are paying me; they love my work; I love what I'm doing," she said. "I kinda built it slowly and here we are today 10 years later."
Now, Miller has more than 1,200 clients in the course of a year.
