Poway Crime Report: July 16-22

The following crimes were reported between July 16-22:

Monday, July 16

• Two drug violations were reported at 11:15 p.m. on Pomerado Road / Poway Road. The first suspect allegedly possessed an ounce or less of marijuana while driving. The second suspect allegedly possessed up to an ounce of marijuana.

Tuesday, July 17

• A grand theft was reported at 6:30 a.m. in the 14400 block of Crestwood Avenue.
• A motor vehicle theft was reported at 6 p.m. in the 13200 block of Powers Court.
• An alcohol violation was reported at 11 p.m. on Garden Road / Poway Road. The suspect allegedly possessed an open container while driving.

Wednesday, July 18

• An assault was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive.
• A drug violation was reported at 12 p.m. on Poway Road / Midland Road. The suspect allegedly possessed controlled substance paraphernalia.

Thursday, July 19

• A petty theft was reported at 8:40 a.m. in the 12800 block of Gregg Court.
• A drug violation was reported at 1:53 p.m. on Ridgedale Drive / Poway Road. The suspect allegedly possessed a controlled substance.
• A petty theft was reported at 2 p.m. in the 13400 block of Community Road.

Friday, July 20

No crimes were reported. 

Saturday, July 21

• An assault was reported at 8:30 a.m. in the 13300 block of Community Road.

Sunday, July 22

• An assault was reported at 1 a.m. in the 13900 block of Azalea Avenue.
