Poway Unemployment Stays Steady at 6 Percent

While San Diego County's unemployment rate edged down, Poway's remained the same in the month of February.

According to the latest figures released by the California Economic Development Department, Poway's unemployment rate remained at 6 percent—the same number as in December and January.

Though Poway's unemployment rate remained the same, the county saw a slight decrease from 10.3 percent in January to 10.1 percent in February. California as a whole also saw a decrease to 12.2 percent—down from 12.4 percent in January.
