Ensuring the Poway business community finds success even through a recession makes Luanne Hulszier worthy of the Prime Poway Woman title.
Hulsizer has led the Poway Chamber of Commerce as its CEO for nearly five years.
Though her job requires more than the average 40-hours-a-week-gig, Hulsizer said as a leader it's important to find balance.

"Many women have been socially conditioned to multitask to the extent that they neglect their goals and passions professionally and personally," she said. "I would encourage not only my fellow sisterhood to seek balance in how much they give to family, work and to themselves, but would also encourage men to do the same.
"One of my favorite sayings is 'It’s the journey, not the destination.' So strive each day to create a better journey for yourself and others."
