Racial Slurs In Video Linked To Poway Unified Students
Poway Unified School District is investigating a video containing racial slurs and involving students that was posted on social media.

POWAY, CA – A video containing racial slurs and involving students from the Poway Unified School District was posted on social media over the weekend, district officials said Monday.
The incident reportedly took place after school hours and off school property. No further details about the video or the students were released.
"We are extremely disappointed by the students' behavior and want to emphasize that it does not reflect our values of making sure our students are able to learn in a safe and caring environment, where all students are respected," district officials said in a statement. "Poway High School is a 'No Place for Hate' campus and the students and staff have worked hard toward achieving that goal."
