Robotics Team Wins Autodesk Fowler Excellence in Design Award

The Poway team is one of four student teams to be honored with the award.

The Poway High School Robotics Club's Team Spyder returned from four days of competition in St. Louis, MO, with the Autodesk Fowler Excellence in Design Award.

The 46-member team, which competed in the 2011 FIRST Championship held on April 27-30, ranked 76 out of 380 teams. It was one of four teams to win the Autodesk Fowler Excellence in Design award.

The club and competition allow students to develop in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
