RV Fire Cause Undetermined; Estimated $15K Damage
The Friday afternoon fire destroyed an RV and damaged a home on Schaler Drive in Poway.

A late Friday afternoon fire that spread from an RV to a neighboring residence is still under investigation, but investigators suspect mechanical issues played a part.
The fire was reported around 5:41 p.m. near the intersection of Robison Boulevard and Pomerado Road in Poway. An RV on Robison Boulevard caught fire, which spread to the home at 12417 Schaler Dr.
Officials said no one was injured, but a man was cited and released, accused of obstructing officers as he tried to look for his wife who he mistakenly thought was in the RV.
