160 SD Drivers Arrested on Suspicion of Drunken Driving
Four of this year's arrests stemmed from injury accidents.

County authorities jailed 160 motorists on suspicion of driving while intoxicated over Super Bowl weekend.
The number is an increase of 18.5 percent over the comparable two-day period in 2010 when there were 135 local DUI arrests, according to sheriff's officials.

Authorities sought to discourage Super Bowl-related drunken driving this year through a national public education campaign titled "Fans Don't Let Fans Drive Drunk,'' a joint project of the National Football League, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the HERO Campaign and Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management Coalition.
