Earthquake Rattles East San Diego County Monday

The ground shook at 10:16 a.m.

WARNER SPRINGS, CA: A 2.9-magnitude quake struck near Warner Springs Monday morning, according to a preliminary report by the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor was reported around 10:16 a.m.

San Diego County residents reported feeling the quake in Ramona and as far away as Alpine and Escondido, according to the USGS. No damage or injuries were reported as a result of the temblor.
