• Eggs Are Being Recalled in Two States Due to Salmonella Outbreaks (goodhousekeeping.com) — Residents who buy eggs from Happy Hens farm in Ramona should immediately check their cartons, as all in-shell organic Happy Hens eggs with the listed codes are being recalled for possible salmonella contamination. The recall follows illnesses and hospitalizations across California, and officials urge anyone with these eggs to discard them, clean any surfaces they touched, and contact a doctor if symptoms like diarrhea or fever persist.
