• California farm issues urgent egg recall over salmonella fears (nypost.com) — Eggs from Happy Hens, linked to a salmonella outbreak and used by a Ramona market to make mayonnaise, are being urgently recalled across San Diego County. If you've bought their organic eggs with Sept. 10, 13, or 24 sell-by dates, health officials say to throw them out or return them, sanitize any surfaces they touched, and contact a doctor if you develop symptoms.
