Ramona High School Bids Farewell to 386 Seniors
Graduation ceremony ends with fireworks amid cheers from the families, friends and fellow students.
A packed stadium joined a senior class of 386 strong at the Ramona High School graduation ceremony Wednesday. Principal Tony Newman told the graduates they would be missed as he commended their many achievements, both individually and as a team.
Scholarships totaling more than $40,000 had previously been awarded to graduates.
Assistant Superintendent Joe Annicharico accepted the class from the principal before the diplomas were handed out. Annicharico, who is retiring this month with 35 years of service to Ramona Unified School District, told the students he started his teaching career at Ramona High School.
