Save The Dates: Annual Concours d'Elegance Runs April 8-10

LA JOLLA (CNS) - The annual Concours d'Elegance classic car event will begin April 8 with a cocktail party at the Lot, with tickets costing $150 person.

Now in its 12th year, Concours d'Elegance will be held through April 10.

Proceeds will benefit the La Jolla Historical Society and the Monarch School for Homeless Children.

Along with the cocktail party, events include:

-- The BMW Tour of Elegance, which features exclusive views of private car collections and a catered lunch, from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 9. The price is $195 per car, which includes the driver and one passenger.

-- An Aston Martin reception, featuring dishes from 15 restaurants and entertainment, 6-9 p.m., April 9 at Ellen Browning Scripps Park, 1133 Coast Blvd. in La Jolla. Tickets are $200 per person.

-- The La Jolla Motor Car Classic, featuring over 300 classic cars, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 10 at Ellen Browning Scripps Park. Vendors will be on site.

Tickets are $150, with 100 tickets available to the general public. A VIP package consisting of admission to the cocktail party, Aston Martin reception and La Jolla Motor Car Classic is $375.
