Suspicious Purse Outside CVS In Ramona Prompts Evacuation, Investigation
BREAKING: Officials with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department responded to the store shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

RAMONA, CA — What appeared to be a suspicious purse Wednesday outside a CVS store in Ramona prompted San Diego County sheriff's officials to evacuate the area.
The discovery was reported at 8:37 p.m. outside a store in the 1800 block of Main Street, said sheriff's Lt. C. Robbins.
The area around the store was evacuated and deputies were investigating, she said.

Twitter posts from 10News indicated that a bomb squad was called to the location and that employees of the store were sent home.
But the scene was ultimately cleared at 10:30 p.m., NBC7 reported.
